Round 2 Lewis hits the front.

The rain falls and the Mclaren hits the front. Ferrari drive like there is no tomorrow and the rest mess around in the midfield.

The smart money is calling it a Mclaren-Mercedes-Ferrari Championship year. Redbull are keepin gtheir cards closed to their chest, are they sand bagging, or has Newey produced another knife edge car.

Of the tail end charlies, Virgin hit the track and learn the hard way that CFD is no shortcut to success. THe front wing walls off and there are many red faces as the team knocks up a new wing from planks of wood they found out the back of the pits. Lashed on with with gaffer tape, a wing and a prayer, they complete a handful of laps with no other problems .. in last spot.

Lotus have revelaed a car, even getting it to do a few laps round silverstone.

Campos continue to sit out side madrid aeroport with a cloth cap and a dancing monkey "spear a few million for a struggerling F1 team Guv'ner" the sign around the moneys neck says.

USF1 - still no sign of the yanks, late to the party as ever.

Round one and it looks like Ferrari might have a fast car under them. They were only doing 10-20 laps runs, whilst Mclaren and the Merc were on longer 30-40 laps runs, so had more fuel.
But at the end of the day when the drivers are allowed to go out and spank it, Ferrari were still out front. Worrying time for the rest of the pack.
